Oral Cancer Screening
Every six months, during your checkup and cleaning, we’ll also conduct an oral cancer screening. This disease has the potential to become deadly if it has a chance to progress and spread to other areas of the body. With regular screenings, we aim to keep that from happening. During the process, we'll conduct a visual and tactile inspection of your mouth, lips and throat for any signs of the disease. If he spots anything suspicious, our dental office will refer you for additional testing.
