Frequently Asked Dental Questions - Fitchburg, MA
We Have the Answers for
Your Most Common Concerns
As dentists, we’re not only medical professionals. We also consider ourselves to be educators and strive to help you make informed decisions about your dental care. In the event that you need additional guidance about a specific treatment, or you just have general concerns you’d like to ask about, feel free to review our FAQ page below. If your question is not addressed, we encourage you to call our dental office directly.
How often should I visit for a cleaning?
We recommend that you visit our dental office at least once every six months for a cleaning and exam. This is the best way to catch dental issues before they have a chance to cause any problems as well as remove harmful plaque and tartar that cause cavities and gum disease.
Can you fix damaged teeth?
Absolutely! Not only can our dentists restore teeth using tooth-colored materials, but we’re able to replace teeth outright using both traditional options (dentures and bridges) as well as dental implants. At Super Dental, our goal is to save teeth first and only consider removal as a last resort.
Are you available for emergency visits?
In the event that you fear you’re experiencing a dental emergency, give us a call. The sooner you call, the easier it will be to get you into our dental office the same day and stop your dental discomfort. We’re dedicated to making your urgent care both productive and comfortable, regardless of the emergency you’re experiencing.
What cosmetic treatments do you provide?
There are many ways to make your smile look the way you want it to. For example, we can whiten your smile both in-house and via take-home whitening kits, place porcelain veneers made from high-quality ceramics, and create metal-free restorations that transform chipped or misshapen teeth instantly!
What’s the best way to straighten teeth?
The best method for straightening your smile will largely depend on your specific needs. For example, severe cases of crowding, misalignment, or uneven bites are generally best served with traditional metal braces. This often tends to be the case when the back teeth need to be addressed as well. However, mild to moderate cases can actually be managed with Invisalign, which uses a series of clear aligners to shift teeth more subtlety (and without using metal materials.)
Do you accept my insurance?
Not only does our dental office accept insurance plans from 20 different providers but we are also proud to accept MassHealth. This means if you are using Medicaid or CHIP to cover dental costs, doing so at Super Dental is super easy! Of course, those in need of third-party financing can also use CareCredit.
Do you see children?
Super Dental is happy to see children of all ages. Our pediatric dentist is specially trained to help your child get comfortable and feel at ease while in the chair. This ensures that their first dental visits are easy and enjoyable, regardless of the services they may need.
